Some of the new features that will be introduced to all users in the coming period, including new posters, have appeared in the latest version of the WhatsApp demo app published by WABetaInfo.com.

Animated stickers

WhatsApp users were able to send photos easily in chats, however animated stickers were not yet available, and the app will offer different sets of new stickers in the coming weeks that will include moving pictures.

QR codes

Up to the moment, the contact is added to the app by saving the phone number, but WhatsApp now offers QR codes that allow quick contact registration. For this purpose, the application introduces a new tab in the list, it displays your "QR" code, or allows you to scan the codes of others, and for this the application must be allowed access to the camera.

Note: WhatsApp Web supports the dark mode today. Check out Settings> Theme. https://t.co/kaHVjnjR8N

Dark mode

Most users should have already got this feature, and WhatsApp Web will get the dark mode that was available for Android and iOS users, so the desktop app will finally have a nice dimmed look that fits with it.

Conference calls

The application's Facebook company is working to improve conference calls, and it will be possible to display video chats in full screen mode. Plus, group chats with up to 8 people will get a new code, to start the conference call with one click.
