Alejandro Camano, agent of Moroccan defender Ashraf Hakimi, said that the French coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, caused the player's departure to Inter, Italy.

"Zidane is the reason for Hakimi's transfer to Inter, he must explain how Hakimi moved? Should he contact him?" Camano said, in comments reported by the Moroccan national team, the National Team.

He explained that the Inter coach had repeatedly communicated with Hakimi during the last period, adding, "When a coach of high value like Conte calls you and strongly insists on contracting with you, this is evidence that he wants you in his team and represents an important piece in his project."

Camano ruled out Hakimi's return to Real Madrid at the moment due to the presence of Spaniard Danny Carvajal, and considered that Hakimi had taken a step forward and his future would be bright.

Zidane had previously justified the abandonment of Hakimi's services for "sporting and economic" reasons, in reference to the royal club's desire to take advantage of the financial compensation for Hakimi's transfer, and his preference for Caravajal over the young Moroccan defender who refuses to return to the riyal to be a reserve for the Spanish defender.

Hakimi's transfer deal to Inter was settled for 40 million euros, and the player, who spent the past two years on loan to Borussia Dortmund, signed a 5-year contract with the Italian club.
