And more than the adventure country in Halmstad has been thinking creatively. According to the police, several organizers have come up with solutions where they get around the restrictions of a maximum of 50 people.

- We try to grant the applications as much as possible, but because of the problem, many withdraw their applications, says Clarence Oredsson, group manager at the police region West's regional permit group.

Must not keep closed

In most cases, the police do not reject applications but often the organizers withdraw their applications themselves because they realize that it is not possible to guarantee that there will not be more than 50 people in the area.

- Actually, theme parks don't have to keep closed. Liseberg may have open only the park and Skara summerland may have open all pools. But if they want to get the carousels or water slides running, they can have a maximum of 50 people in the area, and then it will not be profitable, Clarence Oredsson.

"Kicks big and small"

Is it contradictory that there are different rules for parks and rides?

- Sure it may seem, but it is this regulation that we have to follow and this affects big and small.

It is up to the local area police to check that the organizers are following their permit.

"And if we notice that they do not comply with the conditions, we have the opportunity to revoke the permit," says Clarence Oredsson, group manager at the Police Region West's regional permit group.
