At dawn on Tuesday morning, they arrested six minors, aged 16 and 17, suspected of being the perpetrators of these attacks.

Band phenomenon

"The victims' complaints and the in-depth study of video protection cameras have established that many of these thefts, more than a dozen, appear to have been committed by a group of several young men acting in concert as a gang phenomenon. "Explains this Thursday the safety of the Rhône.

The suspects, already all known to the police, spotted their victims sometimes at ticket machines or at public transit stations. They forced them to withdraw money and robbed them of their personal belongings, add the investigators. They must be presented today to the Lyon public prosecutor's office for the opening of judicial information.
