The meager doubt has been lifted: the body recovered this Sunday afternoon in Lac de la Ramée (Haute-Garonne) was formally identified as that of the 26-year-old man who disappeared on Saturday evening. He was part of a group of friends who had visited this leisure center in western Toulouse.

He never came back from his swim. A major rescue device had been deployed to find it, before being interrupted on Saturday evening and resuming on Sunday morning.

Another drowning Saturday in Haute-Garonne

The Toulouse prosecutor's office opened an investigation to find the causes of death, which it entrusted to the police of the departmental security.

On Saturday, another young man drowned in a private swimming pool in Thil, a town 30 km northwest of the Pink City.
