Turnout for online voting on constitutional amendments exceeded 70%

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin at a meeting in a video conference with the composition of the Public Chamber said that the results of the vote on amendments to the Constitution should be reliable, “forcing” and “wrapping up turnout” are unacceptable.

According to him, the general most important task is to ensure that the results of the vote "are absolutely reliable, legitimate."

According to the CEC, more than 10 million people across Russia took part on the first day of voting on amendments to the Constitution on June 25, turnout was 9.2%.
