A police patrol stopped a car at Höglandet earlier this year for inspection. When the driver was checked, it turned out that his driver's license was revoked and that they were employed by the police.
The police officer, who was on his way to work and dressed in uniform, stated that they were not aware that the driver's license was not valid.
The driver's license had been withdrawn in the spring of 2019 and the police officer stated in question that they believed the recall was only for one year. Someone who wasn't.
The person is now charged with gross unlawful driving and is liable to fines and imprisonment for up to six months.
