A drama took place on Tuesday, at the end of the day, in a house in the south of Montauban, in Tarn-et-Garonne. The firefighters were called shortly before 8 p.m. for a drowning. Relatives of the young victim, aged 12, found her inanimate in the family pool, reports Radio Totem.

Rescuers tried in vain to revive her for several minutes. His family shocked by this tragedy was taken care of by the doctors who intervened on the spot.

In 2018, 1,649 drownings took place in France, i.e. 30% more than in 2015. Nearly 600 led to the death of the victim.
