A woman died on Monday evening in the fire of her apartment in Vitrolles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. According to a press release from the firefighters, the fire started around 9:30 p.m. in this 70 m² apartment located on the third floor of a building in the Tournesol residence.
The source of the deadly fire remains unknown, the source said. Nearly 200 people were evacuated by the 70 firefighters mobilized. Three people were slightly injured following this incident. One of them was hospitalized.
