Tommy Bauer says that they have invested over SEK 7 million in the theme park for this season. But with the government's announcement on Monday that there will be no exceptions for amusement parks about crowds of more than 50 people, Tosseililla remains closed this year.

- It is unreasonable that we should be forced to keep closed when zoos and shopping centers are allowed to stay open. But now it is as it is and we can put all the powder on the next season instead, says Tommy Bauer.

Late decision

Tommy Bauer thinks the government's decision is far too late.

- It has taken far too long to get a message. Had we known this before we would have been able to plan for it much earlier. Now we have instead lived on the hope of being able to open. It will be a setback for us as well as the staff.

Interior Minister Mikael Damberg (S) has previously justified SVT's decision with:

- There are many activities covered by this restriction. There can be water parks, concerts, demonstrations and Allsvenskan. Many groups have wanted exceptions, but the government's message is that we will not allow any exceptions over the summer, says Mikael Damberg.
