June 20, 2020 Washington District Judge Royce Lamberth has rejected a request to block the release of the book by former National Security Advisor John Bolton with his revelations about Donald Trump. The Justice Department had asked for his freeze because Bolton would reveal "classified information".

"For reasons that need not be explained - the judge said in the ten pages of the sentence - a book of political memoirs cannot be seized at national level". However, he criticized the former White House councilor's decision to proceed with the publication of the book even in the absence of an explicit go-ahead from the administration. "The room where it happened: a White House memoir" is expected to be released on Tuesday.
