During its meeting chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Education and Human Resources Council reviewed the Ministry of Education's plan and its vision of the possibility of reopening educational institutions in the country.
The Minister of Education, during the meeting, Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi said: "The plan for the possibility of resuming studies in all educational institutions in the country, including the possibility of reopening government and private educational institutions" schools and universities "will be in next September according to the precautionary controls and requirements and depending on the evaluation of special variables Corona virus emerging, and in accordance with the health requirements issued by the relevant authorities. "
Al-Hammadi added during the meeting, "The plan to re-open educational institutions will be carried out according to deliberate steps and within the precautionary measures taken in the country to confront the virus, which places the health and safety of students, educational, administrative, and community personnel at the top of its priorities."
He affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to ensure the highest standards of protection and safety for students, educational and administrative staff and aid workers by sterilizing educational facilities and facilities at the state level in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the instructions of the National Disaster and Crisis Authority and those issued by the World Health Organization.
To that, the Council of Education and Human Resources praised the efforts of the Ministry of Education, educational bodies and teaching bodies of all state and private schools and universities and their educational and administrative cadres and the cooperation shown by parents and students in applying the "distance education" system.
The Council affirmed that the high sense of national responsibility led to the success of this educational experience and the achievement of the desired results.
