At 23 on Wednesday, parts of Luthagen were filled with blue light after an explosion in an apartment. The National Bomb Guard was called to the scene to investigate the apartment while residents of the house were evacuated to Fyris School. They had to come home at 01 o'clock, when bomb technicians had found no further explosives.

- It was first two smaller bangs, then a powerful one. Obviously it's uncomfortable, says a person living in the same stairwell where it exploded.

No person should have been injured. The day after the detonation, it is quiet in the area. Some passersby stop and look at the glass crusher after the explosion.

- Like a bomb, so it sounded. Then it was quiet, says Bertil Franzén.

Neighbor Melike heard two bangs.

- I thought someone threw glass in a container. Then came the police and then I realized that it was not so, she says.

In the clip above, the neighbors talk about the explosion.
