The report said that the Trump administration filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of Washington, DC, saying that Bolton's new book "contains confidential information." The official prosecutor stated that the White House has not yet completed the review of the book, but it must be done according to the agreement.

"As a condition of being employed in one of the most sensitive and important national security positions in the U.S. government, (Bolton) reached an agreement with the U.S. government. He now wants to undermine the agreement, through a unilateral decision that the review process before publication has been completed, and Decide for yourself whether to disclose confidential information." The prosecutor said.

According to reports, this highly anticipated memoir describes Bolton's experience as a Trump administration national security adviser for 17 months. Publisher Simon Schuster previously announced that Bolton's new book "In the Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir" will be released on June 23.

Allegedly, Bolton's book has been shipped to the warehouse. A source said he intends to publish the book on June 23 as planned, which means that Bolton hopes to deal with any consequences of government lawsuits after that.

Several sources said that Trump was increasingly annoyed that Bolton would publish a secret book. He told the staff that he wanted to prevent its publication and sued Bolton. On June 15, local time, Trump said that any dialogue with him was classified and said that if the book was published as it was, Bolton would face "criminal responsibility."
