The four men were charged with threatening a person by pointing a sharp-pistol at him, in connection with which a shot should have burned off. They must also have held the person and handed fist punches and hit the person in the head with the pistol.

A few days later, police found the weapon hidden in a vential drum in a bicycle storage room. Police exchanged the weapon with a dummy and the camera then monitored the store.

Cannot be attached to the gun

Despite all four being caught in the surveillance film, the court cannot determine who was responsible for the gun lying there, or whether they even entered the store, therefore none of the four men could be convicted of serious weapons offenses.

Two are completely freed

Two of the men are released on all charges. The other two are convicted of grossly illegal threats and beatings. One is sentenced to seven months in prison, the other to two months. The two convicted men will also pay SEK 21,000 in damages to the victim.
