The Ministry of Education has specified a mechanism for obtaining an exception from the academic attendance of students who continue to study in foreign universities, in light of the impact of different countries of the world on the emerging Corona virus.

The Ministry said that in order to ensure the progress of the teaching and learning process for students studying in universities outside the country and its desire to create effective communication channels with them, a set of criteria for exclusion from academic attendance in those universities has been identified.

She explained that students who continue to study in universities outside the country must apply for an exemption from the regular period of study due to the new Corona virus, upon the completion of the academic year and not the academic semester, via e-mail.

She added that the student must attach a letter explaining the reasons for requesting the exception and an official letter from the university in which the subject of the approved study mechanism has during the period of "Corona" in addition to attaching the approval obtained by the student to join the academic program "benefit" issued by the Ministry of Education.

She said that submitting the exception request requires providing the transcript for the academic years that have been studied by the student in the country of study, providing the regular period for each academic year and attaching the entry and exit statement from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.
