Juventus and AC Milan players warmed up with outfits bearing anti-racist messages before the start of their Italian Cup semi-final return on Friday.

Cristiano Ronaldo and the other Turinese warmed up with t-shirts on which we could read on the back "No Racism".

As for AC Milan players, their warm-up shirts were crossed out on the front of the inscription "Black lives matter".

The death in the United States of George Floyd, an African-American, sparked demonstrations all over the world to protest against discrimination and racist violence.

George Floyd died of suffocation in late May from a white cop who left his knee on his neck for more than eight minutes.

The match between Juventus and AC Milan is the first to be played in Italy in more than three months and the interruption of competitions in the face of the progression of the coronavirus epidemic.
