In Paris, the municipal campaign is in full swing. Anne Hidalgo is widely favored ahead of Rachida Dati and Agnès Buzyn, who comes in third. The candidate LREM, despite her low chances of success, was on the ground Thursday to meet the voters in the 17th arrondissement, alongside the boss of En Marche, Stanislas Guerini. Courage, he will need it, because if the reception on the ground is warm and benevolent - even if it means surprising in his camp in the light of the controversies over the management of the coronavirus - Agnès Buzyn is largely an outsider. But some voters are ready to remain loyal to him. "We hoped for a good alternation, but it looks complicated," laments a sympathizer.

"Madame Le Pen gives her voice to Madame Dati" 

All the more complicated since Rachida Dati presents herself as the useful vote to beat Anne Hidalgo and appeals to the macronist voters. But Agnes Buzyn does not hesitate to counterattack. "Madame Le Pen visibly gives Madame Dati her voice. I am not sure that the Parisian voters really want to mix their voices with the voices of the National Front," she tackles.

And while many walkers anticipate a bitter failure in Paris, the boss of En Marche, Stanislas Guerini wants to believe that nothing is being played out. "When we run a campaign, it is to win it. We were told that our candidate would collapse when returning to this campaign, this is not the case," he said. "She is improving for the moment, in the polls, her first round score. Our state of mind is combative." And to try to limit breakage, the walkers plan to send 250,000 messages and make nearly 50,000 calls to Parisians by June 28.
