According to RIA Novosti, Russia was mentioned in the “Threats” section of this document.

“Enhancing military capabilities in the vicinity of Romania, including on the eastern flank, respectively, on the border with NATO (militarization of Crimea as a whole, the Black Sea basin by the Russian Federation, military exercises, capacity building through which offensive and defensive operations can be carried out) creates serious challenges for strategic national interests, regarding the security of the borders of the EU and NATO, and, accordingly, ensuring energy security and stability in the Black Sea region, ”the document says.

It notes that a similar situation may affect the security of Romania.

This strategy, the document says, suggests a new approach.

The document emphasizes that we are talking about a "global paradigm shift," which takes into account, among other things, the "deterioration of relations" between NATO and Russia, the spread of terrorism, hybrid and cyber threats.

Earlier, Poland approved a new national security strategy, which stated that the main threat to the country was Russia's "neo-imperial policy."

The Federation Council, commenting on the Polish security strategy, noted that the accusations against Russia "will be uninterrupted", however, it is necessary "to seek common ground and move forward."
