What really happened last Thursday in an apartment on the ground floor of a building in Le Cannet, near Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes)? In the early afternoon that day, a gunshot was heard. Rescuers find a woman seriously injured in the chest. But despite their rapid intervention, it does not survive.
A man, who shared his apartment, is arrested. According to Nice-Matin, he explained that he fired accidentally while handling a sawed-off shotgun. A thesis which will have to be studied by the investigators.
Placed in police custody, he was indicted for murder and imprisoned, confirmed at 20 minutes the prosecutor's office of Grasse. Judicial information has been opened and an autopsy, which will certainly shed light on the investigation, has been requested.
