On Tuesday afternoon, another Black Lives Matter campaign is planned in Malmö. This time at Möllevångstorget. 700 people have responded that they are coming to the Facebook event, and almost 2,000 are interested.

The demonstration, therefore, like the one held last week, risks exceeding the ban on gatherings of over 50 people.

"General meetings with more than 50 people are not allowed and we will have to act accordingly to be able to hold it," says Andy Roberts, local police area manager in Malmö.

No permit yet

As far as Andy Roberts knows, the Malmö police have not yet received a permit application for the demonstration, but the police are striving to give permission if the organizer applies.

- It is a democratic right to have an opinion expressed. If there are more people than 50, then we have to deal with it, says Andy Roberts.

Police hope the demonstration will be as calm as the one held last week at Ribersborg.

- We want these events to be safe and secure for everyone. We want it to go as well as it did last Thursday, says Andy Roberts.

SVT News has sought the organizers for the demonstration.
