Alvarez is one of the distinguished goalkeepers from the free kicks and the scorer of his team, where he scored many goals during his career, including four goals in the current season only.

Latin America's most important goalkeeper is a free-kicks, especially the Paraguayan duo José Chilafert and Brazil's Rogero Cini. Chilafert scored 62 goals during his career, as he was the first goalkeeper to score a triple with one match.
