  According to Indonesia’s "Compass Net" on the evening of the 6th, citing the news reported by the country’s Army Brigadier General Nefra Firdaus, the MI-17 helicopter number HA5141 carried 9 people and was performing flight training at 13:00 local time. It crashed in Kaliongu, Kendal District, Central Java, at around 40 minutes.

  The official Indonesian Antalya news agency quoted eyewitness Sarwono as saying that the plane ignited after the plane crashed, and several crew members tried to escape from the burning body. Several workers in the industrial area where the crash occurred participated in the fire fighting.

  The accident killed 4 military personnel and injured 5 others. The injured were quickly sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
