Denmark

June 15 opens the border for tourists from Germany, Norway and Iceland. Swedish tourists are not welcome yet.

However, Swedes who work in Denmark, have a summer cottage, Danish partner or other close family in the country can cross the border. Transit trips to Kastrup or further south are also possible.

New travel information for Swedes may come during the summer. Both the Swedish and Danish government talk about possibly only opening up to the Öresund region to begin with.

Norway

Will open the border for touristy Danes on June 15, but not for Swedes.

However, talks are ongoing between the Swedish and Norwegian government and a message that Swedish tourists are also welcome may come when Norway feels confident that the spread of infection will not take off.

Job journeys are allowed without the requirement to spend ten days in quarantine.

Finland

Allows only necessary entry, for example for work. Have not yet reported how it is with other trips this summer.

Germany

The German-Danish border opens to tourists on June 15. The same date as the country's global travel advice is changed and the Germans can travel freely to other EU countries.

Germany has already eased the border rules for several neighboring countries, but on June 15 a greater opening is expected to take place for EU countries plus some European countries.

Various restrictions on social distance apply until June 29.

The restrictions may look different in different states.

France

Plans to open to tourists from other EU countries on June 15.

Quarantine requirements will only be left to citizens of countries that require French to quarantine, today, for example, Spain and the United Kingdom.

From June 2, domestic journeys longer than ten kilometers are allowed. On the same date, the country also relieves a number of other restrictions, such as restaurants, cafes and museums.

In the Paris region, and other regions that are particularly hard hit, some restrictions are retained for some time.

Spain

Want to receive foreign tourists from July, without quarantine requirements. They plan to open the border to France and Portugal on June 22.

Restrictions on how to travel within the country are expected to remain until June 21.

Italy

All EU citizens have been welcomed since June 3, without quarantine requirements. It is also possible to travel between regions again.

Other restrictions, such as museum visits and beaches, may differ locally and regionally, and may change at short notice.

Greece

From June 15, air travelers from much of Europe to Athens and Thessaloniki are welcomed, only random tests will be done on arrival. But if you fly from an airport where the risk of infection is considered high, including Arlanda, then testing and overnight stay at designated hotels. If the test is negative for seven days quarantine, then it is positive for 14 days quarantine.

What matters is which airport the flight comes from, not what nationality the passenger has.

Further openings are planned from July 1. Exactly how will be announced later.

Croatia

Swedes and all other EU citizens are welcome. The only thing required to enter the country is a booking confirmation at a hotel, apartment or similar, so that it can be seen that it is a tourist trip.

Cyprus

Between 9 and 19 June, travelers from 13 low-risk countries are allowed, provided that the persons have proof that they are not infected. On June 20, the requirement for travelers from the 13 countries, which is listed as "category A", will be abolished. This allows travelers from another six countries, "category B", which is required on a freshness certificate upon entry.

Sweden is not initially listed in either Category A or B, but the list is updated weekly.

UK

From June 8, anyone arriving by air, ferry or train must isolate themselves for two weeks, which also applies to Britons.

The quarantine rules should be evaluated every three weeks, but already there are requirements that they should be relaxed. For example, it is discussed that several occupational groups should be exempted from the quarantine requirement or that special travel corridors should be established with countries that have low infection rates.

Czech Republic

Open from Germany, Austria and Hungary as early as Friday. As of June 15, all European countries have been placed in three groups based on the infection situation. Sweden and the United Kingdom are currently the only ones in the highest risk group, which means that Swedes and Britons must present a certificate of freshness in order to be admitted into the country. The same applies to Czechs returning from the two countries.

Netherlands

Opens June 15 for free travel to and from twelve countries, including Germany, Belgium and Italy. Travelers from Sweden and the UK must, for the time being, expect a two-week quarantine on entry. The same applies to Dutch people who visited the two countries.

Belgium

Opens June 15 for travel from all EU countries, as well as the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Iceland.
