A large landslide occurred in the town of Alta in northern Norway, sweeping homes and cars.

According to the Norwegian Water Resources Corporation, a local landslide occurred on Wednesday afternoon near the town of Alta in Finmark County in northern Norway, where eight houses and a car were washed down by the sea.
No human injury occurred.

Waters engineering engineer Anders Björdahl said the landslide was 650 meters wide and 150 meters deep, which was unprecedentedly large.

Local police say the landslide near the town of Alta caused eight houses and one car to be swept into the sea, including four weekend homes, but there were no casualties.

Local resident Bakedal, who filmed the landslide scene, was amazed by the tremendous sound and jumped up the hill and said the houses were floating.
