A serious road accident occurred during the night of Thursday to Friday, shortly before midnight near the Transbordeur in Lyon. Two cars collided. The first was led by a 16-year-old adolescent, reports Le Progrès . He was with a friend in her twenties, who was very badly injured in the shock.

According to the regional daily, the teenager, for unspecified reasons, would have struck the other vehicle in which were a couple of thirty-somethings and their baby, two months old. All three are in a state of absolute emergency.

Only the minor driver escaped without gravity. He was reportedly arrested by the police after help arrived.
