In total, eight homes were engulfed by the sea. According to the first elements revealed by the authorities, no one was in these second homes, but searches are continuing to try to find possible trapped people or potential victims. These dwellings are essentially vacation homes, which could explain the absence of residents inside during the landslide.

No injuries yet

"The instability continued for several hours and one person was evacuated from a neighboring property, but no injuries were reported," said the Forbes correspondent in Norway. A video filmed by a local resident shows the strength of this impressive phenomenon. The author of the video said he fled to save his life after shooting these images. Other landslides were noted in this area in the hours following the first, the authorities therefore remain attentive for the next few hours.
