It is a quarrel between neighbors of incredible violence which took place Monday, in a building in the district of La République in Nice. An argument and an exchange of stab wounds, which resulted in the death - in the hospital - of one of the two protagonists Tuesday, a 68 year old man, and hospitalization, in serious condition, from the other 52-year-old individual.
Judicial information for intentional homicide has been opened against the latter, who must be investigated and presented to an investigating judge when his condition permits.
Who attacked whom?
The circumstances of the drama remain unclear. The 52-year-old man, who came down to meet his neighbor, armed with a knife, claims to have been attacked by the sixty-something man, now deceased.
On Wednesday, the autopsy of the 68-year-old man revealed numerous wounds on the hands and on the chest, proof of a violent struggle. Gray areas that the investigation will have to clear up.
