According to the NBPR, the reason is that the foundation's activities are contrary to the Foundations Act and the foundation's rules.
The Janakkala Foundation was established in 2009 and immediately lent all its assets to a company controlled by the members of the Board. The Foundation had no funds left for the purpose of its activities.
In 2015, the NBPR ordered the foundation to rectify the matter and prohibited the resumption of lending. However, the Foundation did not comply with the order and did not take steps to recover the loan.
The case is still pending in the district court.
