It has been over two months since Sture Björk from Vaggeryd met his former partner Kerstin Ulvebrant. But on Tuesday, they got the chance to be seen again at Furugården's care and care accommodation in Vaggeryd.

- It feels great. It is very nice to see that she is nice, it really is, says Sture Björk.

Plexiglass disc in between

When the Public Health Authority came up with new messages and gave permission for safe visits outdoors, the municipality of Vaggeryd was quick to come up with a solution that allows the residents and relatives to meet again. They have set up garden pavilions, where chairs are placed on each side of a plexiglass slab.

In order to ensure that there will be no larger crowds of people, the relatives must book time to be seen and Lotta Damberg, social manager in the municipality believes that many will now inquire to book a visit.

- We have just started it now, but the reactions we have received so far have been very positive, says Lotta Damberg.
