"The Council of Europe Center of Excellence for Good Governance ... announces the recruitment of local experts to advise on democratic governance in Ukraine," the application says.

As noted in the tender documentation, experts will work in two directions.

The first involves consultation on reform on decentralization of power in Ukraine, as well as on other legal and political issues in the field of public administration, including at the local level.

The second direction provides for work to build the capacity of government agencies in the field of "democratic governance."

The activities of specialists in the framework of the topics proposed by the CE may include the preparation of reports and presentations, conducting surveys, participation in seminars and conferences.

“The total amount of expenses within the framework of this tender should not exceed € 450 thousand for the entire period of the framework agreement (until December 31, 2022. - RT ),” the document says.

Citizens with a master's degree in the fields of “Political Science”, “Jurisprudence”, “Sociology”, “Public Administration” who have the necessary work experience and are fluent in the Ukrainian language can apply for participation in the competition.

As noted in the description of the tender, the Council of Europe for more than ten years "has been assisting Ukraine in the field of democratic governance." These projects have a common goal - to support the decentralization of power and create a sustainable system of local government.

Earlier it was reported that the United States plans to instill in young people of Ukraine a sense of responsibility for the European future of the country and to develop “democratic values”.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intended to allocate $ 38 million for relevant initiatives.
