The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi announced the use of an electronic smart bracelet to monitor Corona patients in home isolation, noting that cases eligible for domestic isolation are registered in the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, in order to provide them with the main requirements, support and follow-up.

The Mubadala Healthcare Network joined forces with the Center to provide telehealth services for 1,500 Corona patients, while they were in the home quarantine.

In detail, the Abu Dhabi Health Department stated that there are standards set by the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health for Home Isolation, targeting people whose tests have shown positive results for the emergence of the Corona virus (Covid-19), who suffer from mild to moderate symptoms and do not pose a risk.

Instructions for household insulation are given to confirmed cases, after providing their owners with a remote electronic monitoring bracelet.

The department indicated that the categories of home isolation in Abu Dhabi include those who are between the ages of 18 and 59 years old, who have no symptoms or have mild symptoms, provided that the injured person is responsible and able to educate himself with preventive measures, and is committed to applying the criteria of sanitation carefully, in addition to the availability of A home environment suitable for home insulation (a room with good ventilation and a separate toilet), and that the patient has a smartphone.

The department pointed out that the bracelet does not include any smart applications, it is intended to follow the movements of the patient and ensure his commitment to the place of isolation, as the bracelet can only be opened by the specialized team after recovering from the disease.

She said she excluded some groups from home isolation, including patients at risk because of their health, people over the age of 60, people who suffer from chronic diseases, respiratory diseases, heart diseases and serious diseases that may affect their immune systems, and others who need direct health care.

And the department explained that the difference between the "smart bracelet" and the application of "Al-Hosn" is that the first is for the injured only, while the second is available to all members of society.

The "fort", which was launched by the health sector in the country, is a digital application dedicated to devices and smartphones, and it brings together the advantages and features of the TRACE COVID and STAYHOME applications launched by the Health Department in Abu Dhabi, in order to ensure superior protection of user privacy through the best standards of artificial intelligence technology and technology .

On the other hand, the Mubadala Health Care Network joined forces with the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, by activating a joint program aimed at providing remote health care services to 1500 “Corona” patients while in the home quarantine, through the health care platform Remotely.

The comprehensive home care plan includes virtual or realistic visits to patients in their homes, by nursing staff, doctors, or laboratory specialists when necessary, where a “case manager” is assigned to each patient, whose mission revolves around monitoring and managing the patient’s condition, ensuring his safety, and arranging his admission process To the hospital if needed. Under the program, patients also receive a medical evaluation after the positive examination result appears.

Violations and fines

The list of violations, fines and administrative penalties issued by a decision of the Council of Ministers stipulated the violation of anyone who does not adhere to the home and stone blocks in private establishments, or who refuses to implement these instructions, with a fine of 50 thousand dirhams.

Anyone who does not abide by the instructions of the quarantine or re-examination, according to the specified instructions and deadlines, will be subject to a similar fine.

As for those who refrain from installing the smart application of the electronic tracking system for the home stone, they will have to pay a fine of 10 thousand dirhams.

The penalties included violating anyone who refuses to carry the smart electronic device, or causing damage or loss or disrupting the network, with a fine of 10 thousand dirhams, while charging the value of the electronic means in the event of its loss or damage, and a fine of 20 thousand dirhams is imposed on anyone who penetrates Applications or smart means for tracking quarantine situations, destroying, deleting or destroying the program, system or website, or obtaining information or data thereon without any right, or attempting any of those actions, while charging the violator the value of the damages.

A fine of 10,000 dirhams was imposed on anyone who refuses to report the loss, damage, or tracking malfunctions of the smart electronic device or the network, within 24 hours from the time the carrier lost contact.
