Several tens of millions of adolescents from Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone and Liberia are affected by the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, the equivalent of the college certificate. The tests are common to all of these English-speaking West African countries. The 2020 edition should have taken place between May and June, but everything has since been suspended in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
