The Minister revealed during the Federal National Council session that was held "remotely" yesterday morning, that the total cases that received exceptional social assistance amounted to 3245 cases during the period from 2017 to the first quarter of this year, and revealed that a budget of 186 million dirhams has been allocated for a grant Marriage this year, to be the highest budget in the history of this grant, from which 2380 citizens benefited during the past year, for a total of 166 million dirhams, 36% of whom are from Abu Dhabi, 13% from Dubai, and 11% from Ras Al-Khaimah.

Bouhamid said: «The Council of Ministers dealt and interacted with these local and international studies, through four axes, its responsibilities were distributed to the ministries and the concerned authorities, the first of which is to ensure care and education for children, the second is to provide housing for family stability, and the third is to provide flexible time, which contributes to allocating more time to follow up Family affairs, and finally the promotion of reproductive health ».
She stated that the Ministry is working to encourage reproductive health within the state, by encouraging marriage between citizens, by allocating the marriage grant, in implementation of the will and initiative of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, with the aim of building coherent and stable Emirati families.
Bouhamid said that the Ministry has organized seven group weddings during the past two years and the current one, benefiting 217 husbands and wives.
