After a lengthy trial with two forensic psychiatric opinions which gave different results, the expertise was taken from the social council's legal advice. The experts say that the mother did not suffer from a psychosis during the actual murder of her son but that she suffered from a serious mental disorder.

Must have been aware of his actions

According to the Judicial Council, she must have been aware of the consequences of her actions. That the mother had intended to kill her son is something that the prosecutor and the son's father's plaintiff's assistant agree with.

The mother's lawyer, on the other hand, says she did not know what she was doing and that she was under the influence of voices in her head.
