The resumption of construction sites is not without danger. Four people were slightly injured Monday afternoon in the fall of a crane on a retirement home in Annonay (Ardèche).

The facts took place shortly before 3 p.m. on the site of the Protestant retirement home Montalivet when for some reason still indefinite, a crane "of ten meters", which was installed next to it, collapsed, the boom of the construction machine touching a room in the building, explained the firefighters, confirming information from the Dauphiné Libéré.

Residents temporarily relocated

Three residents and the crane operator were injured in the accident and medicalized on the spot, added the Codis de l'Ardèche whose intervention mobilized on the spot a workforce of around forty people.

Twelve other residents of the retirement home must be relocated by this evening, said the Ardèche prefecture.
