In Kungsbacka, Varberg and Falkenberg, the rescue service has issued a Class 5 warning on a five-degree scale, which means that it is very inappropriate to fire right now. Even in the southern parts of the county, it is very dry and in Halmstad, Hylte and Laholm the rescue service has issued a class 4 warning.

- We have sent two fireflies today. One flying over north Halland and one flying over south. They will probably be up for a few days before SMHI says there will be no rain until the end of the week, says Andreas Karlsson, internal commander of the rescue service in Halland.

Calls for caution

There is no fire ban even though the rescue services consider it very inappropriate to fire right now.

"Although no rules have been changed, caution still applies," says Andreas Karlsson, internal commander of the rescue service in Halland.
