“They flew on commercial flights on May 28 to Paris and Frankfurt and on May 29 to London, where they were taken aboard by Aeroflot take-off flights,” the press release said.

The Russian embassies in Paris and London, as well as the Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main, under the leadership of the coordination headquarters of the Russian Foreign Ministry, provided transit for the Russians.

Earlier, a group of 18 Russians were brought to Moscow from Fiji with transfers in Australia and Italy.

In just two months, more than 182 thousand Russians returned from abroad.
