The head of state signed a decree on holding parades and fireworks to mark the 75th anniversary of the victory in World War II and the Victory Parade.

“To declare June 24, 2020 a non-working day with salaries retained by employees,” the document says. 

According to the decree, on June 24 at 10 o'clock local time in Moscow, on Red Square, as well as in other Russian cities, military parades will be held.

At 22 o'clock local time in the cities of Russia will be given artillery salute.

Previously, the Kremlin did not rule out that the day of the Victory Day parade, June 24, could be a day off.
