The ministry explained that the platform has incentives through which to persuade government agencies to deal with citizens registered with them, the most important of which is the implementation of the recommendations of the Council of Ministers regarding directing 10% of government purchases to each entity, to citizens and companies owned by them.
In detail, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation confirmed that it has created a national platform for self-employment in order to enable citizens with national skills (independent), and help them to invest their skills and achieve income through them, stressing that all services provided by the platform to citizens are "free".
According to the Ministry, the National Self-Employment Platform is the first interactive national electronic platform that links young citizens of independent citizens with different entities at the state level, as the platform provides an opportunity to apply for projects and review experiences, evaluation and development, and electronic payment solutions using safe and innovative tools, in various specialized areas What would be achieved for independents through a dynamic and funky career path.
The Ministry indicated - in response to the most important questions of the platform's pioneers and registered youth among them - that the platform provides free online training for the independent skill holder, during the first month of joining it, and is a condition for continuing the membership, provided that the training includes four main axes, namely: «Administration Time, personal marketing, and how to become a successful freelance, and finally the development of technical skills », noting that citizens registered with the platform are subsequently subjected to free specialized training courses in their skill areas.
She explained that a set of incentives has been allocated to persuade government agencies to deal with independents of national cadres, through the implementation of the recommendations of the Council of Ministers regarding directing 10% of government purchases to each entity, to citizens and companies owned by them.
The Ministry specified three conditions for registration in the national platform for self-employment, the first of which is to be a citizen of the state, and the second is not less than 21 years old, while the latter has a skill or talent in the field of business, pointing out that the citizen can submit job offers on the platform , By simply registering and preparing his own page, and adding the services that he can provide according to the project, with the possibility of adding more than one field of work on his page, as well as submitting more than one offer at the same time.
In response to a question about how citizens registered with the platform can receive job applications from the authorities, the ministry stated that once the employer chooses any services from citizens registered with the platform, they will be notified of the service request via e-mail, and through the smart application of the platform, to finalize a final agreement on work and pricing The service, by making standard comparisons between the service that the citizen will provide and what is equivalent to it in the market, and then sets a competitive price taking into account the type of service provided and the size of the work required, and can negotiate the price with the entity, confirming that the citizen will get in return for the services provided to the authorities for Online payment via the platform.
She said: «To ensure the financial rights of the registrants in the platform, the full amount is reserved from the requesting party, in the electronic wallet before providing the service under the supervision of the platform’s management, then the national ((independent)) owners are paid when the project is completed and the approval of the authority is taken, and a percentage of completion is taken The project is taken into consideration, as a percentage of the amount will be deducted in case of non-completion in the required way according to the terms and conditions policy.
She emphasized that the amount will be delivered within a period of between 20 and 30 working days from the delivery of the service, provided that the tax is not calculated on citizens unless the return exceeds 375 thousand dirhams.
