The beaches, museums and monuments will be open all over the country the day after the Pentecost weekend. The swimming pools, sports halls and gymnasiums will reopen on June 2 in the green zone, but only on June 22 in the orange zones.

Cinemas will be waiting everywhere on June 22, the cinema operators themselves having pleaded for a "national reopening".

Meetings always limited to ten people

As a sign of the government's caution, the rallies will however remain "limited to 10 people" in public space. "Cultural and sporting events will therefore remain suspended", and nightclubs, games rooms, stadiums, racetracks will remain closed to the public until at least June 22.

The Prime Minister, however, announced "the reopening of parks and gardens", particularly in Paris, from June 2, as demanded by the town hall and many residents.

In the departments classified as green, the lycées will reopen while the resumption of courses in schools and colleges in all areas will be accelerated.

No oral French for students in first

Another important statement: the Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, announced that this year there will be no oral exam of French bac for high school students in premiere. "I heard concerns about an exceptional situation which led to uneven preparation" for this test; it will therefore be "validated by continuous monitoring", he said.

In public transport, wearing a mask will remain mandatory "as long as there is no treatment" against the Covid-19, warned in the morning the Minister of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, Élisabeth Borne.

Closed since March 31, Paris-Orly airport will resume commercial passenger flights on June 26, "by optimizing the airport infrastructure" according to demand, announced its manager, the ADP group.

Another symbolic reopening, that of one of the main department stores in Paris, Printemps Haussmann, which again welcomed customers on Thursday, but masked.
