Guest of Europe 1, Thursday evening, the general secretary of the union of SNPDEN school heads, Philippe Vincent, believes at the microphone of Sébastien Krebs that the decision to reopen high schools in the green zone obeys a "form of logic" and that '' we must especially favor the return to class of Terminale.

INTERVIEW

It was, according to him, a decision "relatively expected": guest of Europe 1, Thursday evening, the general secretary of the union of SNPDEN school heads Philippe Vincent reacted to the announcement, by Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, the reopening of all high schools outside Île-de-France, Guyana and Mayotte.

According to this headmaster of a high school in Aix-en-Provence, "there is a form of logic following the resumption of primary schools and then colleges. The health situation improving, it was quite obvious that the high schools were likely to resume from the moment they were in the green areas. "

Not sure "high schools are ready Tuesday"

For "general, technological and professional" high schools in the green zone, students will be welcomed from Tuesday, according to the government calendar. But according to Philippe Vincent, it is "not certain that all the high schools will be ready on Tuesday", with establishments which will "get in phase throughout the next week to welcome groups of students while respecting the health framework" .

The lycées "will reopen and gradually welcome the pupils, at least on one of the three levels", in Seconde, Première or Terminale. But what level should be favored for this partial reopening, with 15 students maximum in the classes?

Terminals to help before the bac?

"We will have to have debates inside the establishments, that we agree on priority audiences", answers Philippe Vincent. "Many colleagues consider that it is the Terminal level (which should be favored) because there are a fringe of students below the bar of 10. They would be likely to pass the tests of the second group, and would constitute an attractive target population in terms of support and accompaniment. "
