Fredrik Thomander runs a music studio in Palma de Mallorca and, like Spainbo, he has been one of the people who during the pandemic clapped hands and sang Resistiré, from the balcony to pay tribute to the care staff every day at eight in the evening.

- The Spanish message of the song is more "now we will fight and resist" and I do not think that rhymes with the Swedish way. So I called the copywriter Ingela "Pling" Forsman who is incredible at capturing emotions in words in a simple way.

When the song was translated, the requests went out to several artists.

- Almost everyone we asked accepted yes and then we came to a point that we couldn't fit in with more people.

Sarah Dawn Finer and Mariette are among the participating artists

Of the 50 artists who are in the song we find, among others, Sarah Dawn Finer, Helene Sjöholm, Mariette and Jessica Andersson.

How does the pandemic affect you as a music producer in Spain?

- Now the country is opening up again and life is starting to return to normal, but for a music producer who has largely worked in quarantine all his life, this is no big difference.

The song was released this week and the money from the music will be donated to projects in the healthcare sector.

In the clip, Fredrik Thomander tells more about how the song came about.
