The fatwa is the other side of law enforcement in the Egyptian lane before modern life. It uses the same bullying mechanisms - "propaganda" and violence - in the face of the weaker other, but the goal is to achieve justice. And because the character depends mainly on the physical structure, it needs an artist with a muscular, bulky structure to be the ideal and appropriate model.

The writings of the Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz on "Al-Harafish" are considered the main reference to the fatwa on the screen. The novel was first published in 1977, and it was presented in many dramatic and cinematic works, including: "Al-Harafish", "Berries and Nabot" and "Shahd the Queen", and was inspired by them. Some authors are a world of fatwat but far from Harafish Naguib Mahfouz, including the series "Al-Fatwa", which participated in the current season and is starring the artist Yasser Jalal.

The way Robin Hood

In Ramadan drama this season, the actor Yasser Jalal decided to present the figure of the bully, especially because he possesses the physical characteristics that suit the work, but he was aware that Harafish Naguib Mahfouz was presented many times, so he was afraid to enter into a competition with the actors who had previously presented it, so he decided to introduce the character A fashionable and modern way away from the stereotypical bully of Harafish.

Yasser Jalal presented the personality of "Hassan Al-Jabali" in the series "Al-Fatwa", whose father (the Fatwa) is being killed treacherously, and Hassan, like other aesthetic people, suffers from the power and dominance of the new fatwa, so he decides to take their right through disguise to become the masked fatwa as they say it.

The work's author, Hani Sarhan, relied on Robin Hood for the purpose of achieving justice and using force for the benefit of the poor and the oppressed. Before he sought power, he saw him trying to implement justice and peace.

Fatwa is not the first work of Yasser Jalal, as he previously starred in the series "Saad Al-Yateem" in the nineties, which was also going on in the world of fatwas.

Farid Shawqi, Market Bully

The artist Farid Shawqi Harafish and Fatwa Naguib Mahfouz were preceded by his first experience in the movie “Fatwat al-Husayniyya” that he presented in 1954, and Farid Shawqi wanted at that time to move away from the evil models he presents on the screen and present the character of the popular hero who fights and conquers evil.

In the film, "Bayoumi Zaqlat", who learns from his father how to strike the pipeline, to qualify him to be the Fatwa al-Husayniyya, and through the events he enters into conflict with the tyrant fatwa.

With director Salah Abu Saif, Farid Shawky presented the movie “Al-Fatwa” in 1957 and the character of Haridi Imran who goes to the market in search of livelihood, and he found the teacher Abu Zaid (Zaki Rustom) who robs the market and does not give space to the poor to buy and sell, so the hero decides to confront it and form a front Counter until he becomes a market bully, after he enters into a battle with Abu Zayd culminating in his victory.

Cinematic literature Naguib Mahfouz

And because “Harafish” Naguib Mahfouz is a rich world rich in details and events, many artists have presented it on the screen.

In 1986 two films were presented about Harafish Naguib Mahfouz, the first of which is "Berries and Nabot", which was shown on January 20.

Nour al-Sharif, the popular hero

The screenwriter Mohsen Zayed returned to present Harafish Naguib Mahfouz again with a different treatment through the series of the same name, and was starred by the artist Nour Al Sharif, who chose the biography of the popular hero Ashour Al Naji, a symbol of values, justice and fairness to the simple and the oppressed.

Ahmed Zaki Fatwa overcoming

While the author Yusr al-Jundi, in the movie "Saad al-Yateem", explores the soldier in a different way from Al-Harafish, through a popular story of a person who aspires to become a fatwa al-Hara, then he decides to kill his brother and expel his young son.
