Yesterday, the United Arab Emirates sent an aid plane containing seven tons of medical supplies to the Republic of the Comoros, to support it in reducing the spread of the Corona virus emerging (Covid-19), which will benefit more than 7000 health care workers, to enhance their efforts. The UAE’s ambassador to the Comoros Republic, Saeed Mohammed Saeed Al-Maqbali said: “This assistance comes within the framework of cooperation and strengthening partnership between the two countries, and the UAE’s full commitment to assist African countries in combating (Covid-19).”

He added, "This assistance will support the efforts of frontline workers who provide the finest models of sacrifice, bravely leading the efforts to combat the epidemic, and will enhance their capabilities to limit its spread."

The UAE has provided more than 634 tons of aid to more than 53 countries, benefiting about 634,000 medical professionals.
