  According to reports, the specific requirements of the Panamanian Ministry of Health are:

  Article 1: All enterprises, whether state-owned or private, must set up a health and epidemic prevention committee with 2 to 6 members in accordance with the DM-137-2020 resolution issued by the government on March 20. The committee must establish an epidemic prevention and control program for employers, employees, customers, suppliers and visitors, monitor the cleaning and disinfection and the use of masks in the work area and public areas, and ensure the interpersonal distance of more than 2 meters and the proper disposal of waste;

  Article 2: The company must specify special working hours, limit the number of employees who are on the job at the same time, and adopt alternative office methods (such as home remote office) for vulnerable people such as those over 60 and pregnant women;

  Article 3: Pay attention to the health of employees and customers, measure the temperature of people entering and leaving the workplace, and if they find that the body temperature is higher than 38 ° C or show other suspected symptoms, they must report to the health authority;

  Article 4: Encourage employees to use intermittent time for stretching exercises, relax the body, and relieve fatigue;

  Article 5: The company must continue to provide employees with personal cleaning and disinfection supplies, including water, hand sanitizer, paper towels, disinfection gel with an alcohol content of 60% to 95%, etc.

  In addition, the Ministry of Health also recommended that companies use diluted alcohol, sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, or quaternary ammonium compounds to disinfect office premises.
