The relevant legal provisions on amnesty for illegal immigrants are published as follows:
The first paragraph, Italian nationality, EU citizens and foreign immigrant employers with permanent residence, while declaring the employment of illegal immigrant workers, can apply for the legalization of the employed person. Foreign illegal immigrant workers applying for legalization must prove that they entered Italy before March 8, 2020.
In the second paragraph, foreign immigrants whose residency status expires on October 31, 2019 and has not been renewed may apply for a temporary residency status with a validity period of 6 months. The residency status can be extended according to the newly signed labor contract.
In the third paragraph, illegal immigrants can be allowed to apply for legalization in areas including agriculture, animal husbandry, aquaculture and fishery.
The fourth paragraph, the period of validity and working hours of the legalized labor contract for applying for illegal immigrants cannot be lower than the minimum standard of the labor contract of the same industry.
The fifth paragraph, to apply for the legalization of illegal immigration, must submit an application from June 1, 2020 to July 15, 2020. Employers of Italian and EU citizens must apply to the Italian National Social Security Administration; foreign immigrant employers must complete the application procedures at the immigration window of the provincial government; illegal immigrants without work must complete the application procedures at the immigration office of the police station.
The sixth paragraph, employers applying for the legalization of illegal immigration must meet the personal income standards set by the government; employers of persons with disabilities with a disability certificate need no income certificate. Illegal immigration applications can be legalized and you can continue to work in related fields. It is forbidden to change employers and jobs during the amnesty trial.
The seventh paragraph, employers apply for legalization of illegal immigrants need to pay 500 euros; illegal immigration applications without work need to pay 130 euros, and a handling fee of 30 euros.
Article 8. Those who have been sentenced in the past 5 years, or are suspected of organizing smuggling, prostitution, terrorist activities, using minors to commit crimes, suspected of exploiting labor and other criminal acts, as well as criminal suspects whose cases are being tried, have not applied for illegal Immigration legalization qualifications.
In the ninth paragraph, if it is not force majeure, after the employer submits an application for the legalization of illegal immigration, if he has not signed a work contract or paid labor tax for the respondent, the application will be rejected.
