The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority announced the modification of the dates for providing mass transit service starting from today to include the Dubai metro, tram, public transport buses, marine transportation, taxis and joint transportation, in addition to the happiness centers for customers and service providers.

The metro will carry passengers via 54 trains on the Red Line and 17 trains on the Green Line during peak hours, to serve 46 stations, and the time of intersection between flights during peak hours will be two minutes and 38 seconds on the Red Line, and five minutes on the Green Line.

The transportation times by metro and public transportation are commensurate with the times of the national sterilization system that applies from 8 pm until 6 am the next day as of today.

The Commission stressed the obligation to implement the instructions and practices announced within the application of all precautionary and preventive health and proactive measures, the most important of which are physical spacing in the means of transport and stations, and at the entrances of stations and centers, and obliging passengers and dealers to wear masks, to ensure the highest levels of protection for them and the employees and transport operators.

The authority announced the Dubai tram working hours to be from 7 am to 9 pm, through 6 tram trains, serving 11 stations, with a time of eight minutes between trips.

As for the public transport bus service within the city, 902 buses will be operated, starting to provide their services from 6 am to 8 pm, and buses will operate on 142 lines, and during the hours of implementation of the national sterilization program, 74 buses will be provided, operating on 13 lines are: 8, 10, 12, 13A, 17, 24, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43 and X23, these lines serve 19 government and private hospitals.

Seven shipping lines will also operate from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, while the tourist lines and Dubai Water Canal lines will continue to be suspended, and the line linking the Al Ghubaiba station in Dubai and the aquarium in Sharjah.

Taxi vehicles in Dubai provide their services as usual through 10 thousand and 936 regular vehicles, and 7 thousand limousines, from 6 am to 8 pm, while two thousand taxis will be operated at night during the hours of the national sterilization, to be requested through a decent application And uber.

Udrive and Ekar will be allowed to operate from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM.

As for customer happiness centers and service providers centers, customer happiness centers in Umm Ramool, Deira and Al Barsha, as well as 20 service providers centers, will provide services to customers, from 9 am to 3 pm, while they will be closed during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

The authority confirmed taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of passengers, customers, employees and drivers, as an integrated system has been put in place to purify and sterilize the facilities and all trains, buses, vehicles, stations and centers on a daily basis, in addition to applying all precautionary measures to be taken to provide a safe and sound environment for all passengers and workers.
