The department noted that the resumption of the cinema "is only possible after the removal of restrictive sanitary and epidemiological measures."
“The Ministry of Culture of Russia, together with the largest cinema chains, appealed to Rospotrebnadzor with a request to prepare recommendations for the resumption of the work of cinemas,” the statement said.
It is noted that "it is worth considering that the corresponding decision on the resumption of their activities is made by the leadership of the executive authorities of the constituent entities of Russia."
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the authorities in the capital will allow the work of restaurants and movie theaters last.
