Before the 40th anniversary of the May 18 Democratization Movement, more than 140 US classified documents were released today (15th). The document also included Chun Doo-hwan, a security commander at the time, asking for help from the United States while taking over the military, and the new military's excuse to expand martial law to prevent becoming a communist country.
